8-Day Oberoi Zahra Cruise [Aswan – Luxor]

Day 1: Embarkation and Sightseeing in Aswan

When you arrive in Aswan for your luxury 8-Day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, one of our friendly tour representatives will be waiting for you at the airport or the railway station, depending on your travel plans. After a warm welcome, they will escort you to the Oberoi Zahra Luxury Nile Cruise’s private docking area in a modern air-conditioned vehicle.

Embarkation is scheduled for 12h00, followed by a splendid onboard lunch served in the vessel’s elegantly styled dining area. Later, at around 14h00, you will enjoy a lovely sightseeing tour which will see you visiting the extremely impressive Aswan High Dam, as well as the ancient Temple of Philae. This marvelous relic of the ancient world was actually relocated in its entirety from its original location in order to save it from the rising water of Lake Nasser following the completion of the High Dam.

After your tour, you will have some time to relax on board the boat, with a wonderful dinner being served in the evening at 19h30. This night will be spent on the water in Aswan.

Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Optional Excursion and Philae Temple Sound & Light Show

Today is essentially a day for relaxation. Wake up and enjoy a wholesome breakfast on board which will be served between 07h00 and 10h00. After breakfast, you will have an opportunity to enjoy an optional excursion to the famous Abu Simbel Temples.

Like Philae Temple, Abu Simbel also had to be relocated following the construction of the High Dam. This massively impressive temple is largely considered to be Egypt’s second most recognizable ancient relic after the Great Pyramids of Giza.

Lunch will be served on board from 13h00 onwards, and shortly before sunset, you will visit Philae Temple again, this time to witness an incredible sound and light show at the Philae Temple.
