4-Day Oberoi Zahra Cruise

Day 1: Arrival in Aswan, Embarkation and Aswan Sightseeing

The first day of your 4-Day Oberoi Zahra Cruise begins from the moment you arrive at Aswan Airport, where one of our friendly tour representatives will be waiting to meet and greet you. Once all the formalities are over they will escort you in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to the private docking area where you will board the luxurious Oberoi Zahra Cruiser.

An excellent lunch will be served on board the vessel at 12h30, and at 14h30 you will be taken to see the very impressive Aswan High Dam, followed by a visit to the magnificent ancient Temple of Philae which had to be relocated in its entirety in order to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.

A wonderful dinner will be served on board in the evening, starting from 19h30, and you will be spending the first night of your cruise vacation on the water in Aswan.

Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Kom Ombo Sightseeing, Edfu Sightseeing and Cruise to Esna

Today the Oberoi Zahra Cruise will depart from Aswan at 05h00 and make its way to Kom Ombo, with breakfast being served on board between 07h00 and 08h30.

At 08h00 your Expert guide will take you and a small group of our other clients to see the amazing Kom Ombo Temple. This is essentially two temples in one, with one being an identical mirror-image of the other. One was built to honor Horus the falcon God, while the other was built to honor the crocodile god Sobek, the creator of the world and the God of fertility.
