23-Day Grand Middle East Tour of Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca for your Luxury Middle East Tours

When you arrive at the airport in Casablanca for your incredible 23-day Middle East trip, you will be met by one of our tour representatives. You will be assisted in any way possible, and then you will be driven to the imperial city of Rabat where you will be checking in at a good hotel for the night.

Our tour representative will briefly discuss your tour itinerary with you and confirm a few things with you, such as pick-up times for your tours, and then you will be left to enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish.

Day 2: Travel to Fez via Meknes and Volubilis

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel you will check-out, and then you will be taken for a short morning tour of Rabat to see places such as Chellah and Kasbah Ouddaya.

You’ll also have some time for strolling around inside the small souks and bazaars, and then you will be taken for an authentic Moroccan Tea experience at the ever-popular “Café Maure” which is located on the bank of the Bouregrag River. Enjoy some Moroccan mint tea and other traditional snacks like Kaab Ghazal and Ghariba, and once you are finished, you will take a trip to the ruins Volubilis.

On arrival at Volubilis, you will meet up with a specialist guide who will show you around the ruins of what was once a thriving Roman city. After your tour of this wonderful UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will then drive to Meknes, another of Morocco’s imperial cities. Once again, you will meet up with a local guide who will take you for a nice sightseeing tour, after which you will continue on your way to the imperial city of Fez where you will check-in at another good hotel for the night.

Day 3: Fez Sightseeing Tour and Pottery Workshop

Begin the 3rd day of your Middle East trip with another good breakfast, and then you will be picked up for your tour of Fez. There is so much to see in Fez, that it would be impossible to see everything in just one day, but you can be sure that you will be taken to see some of the city’s most interesting attractions, including the Attarin Medersa; the tanners; the Moulay Driss tomb; the cabinet makers’ souk, and more.

Shortly before lunchtime, you will also attend a pottery workshop with a Moroccan pottery master. After your pottery workshop experience, you will taken to a good local restaurant for lunch, and then once you have finished eating, you can either choose to be taken back to your hotel, or you can choose to be left on your own to explore all the fascinating lanes and alleyways of the old town.

Day 4: Travel by Road to Marrakech via Beni Mellal

Enjoy another good hotel breakfast and then it will be time for you to check-out because today you will be heading to the Moroccan city which everyone dreams about, Marrakech. The drive from Fez to Marrakech is a fascinating one which will see you passing several small villages, including places such as Imouzar and Ifrane.

You will eventually stop for a break at a place called Beni Mellal which is one of Morocco’s best known agricultural centers, and from here you will complete the journey to Marrakech where you will once again be checking into a good hotel for the night.

Day 5: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour and Kotchi Ride

The 5th day of your magical Middle East tour once again begins with a delightful hotel breakfast, and then it will be time for your morning tour of the charismatic imperial city of Marrakech. Although this is only a morning tour, you will still get to see some of the city’s most endearing attractions, including the famous Majorelle Gardens; Menara Garden; the Koutoubia Mosque, and more.

At lunchtimes, you will be taken to a good local restaurant for some lunch, and then it will be time for another authentic Moroccan experience, this time a Kotchi ride (traditional horse-drawn carriage) to famous Jemaa el-Fna square that hosts different forms of entertainment throughout the day.

After a brief tour of the square, you can either return to your hotel, or we can leave you at the square so that you can continue exploring on your own.

Day 6: Free Day in Marrakech

There are no sightseeing trips scheduled for this day of your Middle East tour, so you are free to enjoy your day as you wish. However, we highly recommend heading out on your own for some more exploring.

Day 7: Travel to Casablanca and Short Casablanca Tour

Enjoy another good breakfast at your hotel, and then at the agreed time, you will need to check-out, and then you will be driven to the imperial city of Casablanca. On arrival in Casablanca, you will be taken for a short but very pleasant tour of the city, and then you will be taken to the hotel where you will be staying for your last night in Morocco.

Day 8: Travel to Egypt

The next leg of your Middle East program begins today, so at the appropriate time, you will need to check-out from your hotel so that we can get you to the airport in time for your flight to Cairo in Egypt.

Of course, when you land in Egypt, one of our tour managers will be at the airport to meet you and assist you. Thanks to our fast-track visa service, you should be out of the airport in no time at all, and one of our drivers will then drive you to the hotel where you will be staying for the next two nights of your Middle East tour.

Your tour manager will assist you with check-in and confirm a pick-up time for the following day’s tour, and then you will have the remainder of the day to yourself.

Day 9: Giza Pyramids & the GEM Tour

The 9th day of your Middle East trip is going to be the sort of day many people can only dream about.

Enjoy a good breakfast as usual, and then you will be met by your Expert tour guide and one of our drivers, and you will head to Giza to see the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, as well as the Valley Temple. Once you’ve completed your exploration of the Pyramids, enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant.

Next, head to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, or Giza Museum, an impressive archaeological complex located around 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza Pyramids.

Enjoy some time at the GEM, and then you will be returned to your hotel for the night.

Day 10: Nile Cruise Embarkation and Luxor East Bank Tour

Enjoy your breakfast, and then it will be time for you to checkout so that we can get you to the airport in time for your flight to Luxor (included).

In Luxor you will again be met at the airport by one of our tour representatives who will then escort you to the area where you will be boarding your 5-star Nile River cruise.

Enjoy a good lunch aboard the ship, and then one of our Expert tour guides will accompany you and a small group of our other clients for a tour of the Luxor East Bank to see Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temple complex.

After your tour to these two ancient sites, you will head back to the ship, and the rest of the day will be yours to enjoy as you wish. Enjoy your dinner and a good night’s sleep on the water at Luxor.

Day 11: Luxor West Bank Trip and Sail to Edfu

Shortly after breakfast today, you and the other members of your small group will be taken for another excursion, this time to see three amazing sites on the Luxor West Bank.

During this tour you will visit the Colossi of Memnon; the magnificent ancient rock-cut mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the ancient royal necropolis known as the Valley of the Kings. More than 60 tombs have been discovered here, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen.

Following your West Bank tour, you will return to the ship, and your will be served lunch while sailing to Edfu. Dinner will also be served aboard the vessel in the evening, and you will spend this night of your cruise on the water at Edfu.

Day 12: Edfu, Kom Ombo and Overnight at Aswan

Shortly after breakfast today, you will be taken to see Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple, the Temple of Horus, after which you will return to the ship and it will begin sailing to Kom Ombo.

On arrival at Kom Ombo, our Expert tour guide will accompany you to see another ancient marvel, the very unique Kom Ombo Temple which was dedicated to two different gods: Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god.

After visiting the temple, you will return to the cruise ship, and it will then sail on to Aswan with lunch being served along the way. Enjoy dinner and another good night’s rest on the water at Aswan.

Day 13: Aswan Sightseeing Tour

Enjoy a nice breakfast aboard the vessel, and then it will be time for your Aswan sightseeing tour which will see you visiting two really impressive sites: the giant Unfinished Obelisk, and the absolutely incredible ancient Temple of Philae which is one of several ancient monuments that were dismantled and relocated to higher ground to save them from the flooding of Lake Nasser when the Aswan High Dam was built.

Return to the cruise ship after your tour and then enjoy lunch and an afternoon of leisure time before dinner is served in the evening. Enjoy the last night of your Nile cruise on the water at Aswan.

Day 14: Travel Back to Cairo from Aswan

Enjoy one last breakfast on board the vessel, and then it will be time for check-out and disembarkation so that we can get you to the airport in time for your flight back to Cairo.

As usual, your tour manager and one of our drivers will be standing by when you arrive in Cairo to meet you and to take you to the hotel where you will be staying for your last night in Egypt.

Day 15: Travel to Jordan

The next phase of your Middle East tour begins today, so at the appropriate time, you will need to check-out from the hotel, and then we will get you to Cairo International airport in time for your flight to Amman in Jordan.

Of course, when you land in Amman, another one of our representatives will meet you, and then drive you to the hotel where you will be staying for the night. Check-in at the hotel, and then you will have the remainder of the day to yourself.

Day 16: Sightseeing at Madaba, Mount Nebo and the Dead Sea

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then you will be heading out for a full day’s sightseeing, with your first stop being at Madaba where you will visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George to see a fantastic 4th-century mosaic map of the Promised Land.

From here you will make your way to Mount Nebo where Moses was shown the Promised Land, and you will visit an old monastery. Enjoy spectacular views of the Jordan Valley; the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land.

Next, you will make your way to the lowest place on earth which is the Dead Sea. Enjoy some time for relaxing and even experience floating on the water, and then as evening approaches you will return to your hotel in Amman.

Day 17: Sightseeing Trip to Jerash, Ajloun and Umm Qais

The 17th day of your Middle East tour will be another day full of incredible sightseeing.

Today you will be taken to see three amazing sites: Jerash, Ajloun, and Umm Qais. Jerash was an ancient Roman provincial city, and it is one of the most treasured archeological sites in Jordan. Ajloun castle is also an incredible site, as is Umm Qais, which are essentially the remains of an old Greco-Roman City once known as Gadara.

From here, you will once again be driven back to your hotel in Aman.

Day 18: Lost City of Petra Tour

Today is dedicated to showing you one of the most stunningly spectacular archeological site on the planet: the Lost City of Petra, also known as the Rose City of Petra or the Rose Red City of Petra.

Since no amount of words can even begin to describe this unbelievable rock-cut city, we highly recommend looking it up, or by browsing through our Jordan Tourist Attractions. It well and truly is beyond words.

Following your tour at Petra, you will then head back to your hotel in Amman where you will be spending your last night in Jordan.

Day 19: Goodbye Jordan, Hello Dubai

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, and then at the appropriate time we will take you to the airport in time for you to catch your flight to Dubai.

As is always the case when you travel with us, you will again be met at the airport when you arrive, and then you will be driven to the hotel where you will be staying in Dubai. Once you have checked in, you will have the rest of the day to enjoy as you wish.

Day 20: Traditional Dubai City Tour

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting off on an exciting exploration of Dubai’s historic and cultural landmarks.

Your tour begins at the centuries-old Al Fahidi Fort, which houses the Dubai Museum, where you can learn about the city’s rich history and traditions. Following your visit, enjoy a scenic ride on a traditional Abra boat across Dubai Creek, a charming experience that will take you to the vibrant gold and spice souks. Take time to explore the bustling markets, filled with dazzling jewelry and exotic fragrances.

Next, visit the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque, an architectural masterpiece and one of the city’s most beautiful landmarks. After your daytime tour, you’ll return to your hotel to rest before the evening’s activities.

At the scheduled time, you’ll be picked up for a magical Dubai Marina dinner cruise. Aboard a traditional wooden Dhow boat, enjoy a delightful meal while taking in the stunning views of the illuminated Marina skyline. Day 21: Full Day Tour to Abu Dhabi and Louvre Museum Visit
