How Do Deposits Work?

To secure your booking, a small deposit is all it takes. While our standard deposit is 25% of the total tour price (or 50% during Christmas, Easter, and New Year), we’re currently offering a low down payment of just 10%—making it easier than ever to lock in your dream trip.

This deposit guarantees your spots on the tour, including hotel rooms, Nile cruise cabins, domestic flights, and other essential services.

You can pay the remaining balance anytime up to 2 days before your arrival, or even in cash upon arrival directly to your tour manager. This gives you maximum flexibility and peace of mind—your booking is secure and risk-free.

Are There Any Hidden Fees?

With Egypt Tours Plus, what you see is what you pay. We never add surprise charges, hidden fees, or last-minute surcharges. Your quoted price includes everything outlined in your itinerary—so you can book with total confidence.

Group Discounts

Traveling with a group of 10 or more? We offer special group rates! Just let your tour consultant know, and we’ll provide a custom quote with your group discount applied.

Early Bird Savings

Planning ahead has its perks! Book and pay in full at least 6 months before your arrival, and you’ll receive a 5% Early Bird discount on your tour price.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Early Bird bookings require full, non-refundable payment
  • Discounts are calculated once your itinerary is finalized
  • Discounted tours are not eligible for date changes or refunds

What Are the Rates for Children?

We love welcoming families! If you’re bringing children along, we offer generous discounts to make your family adventure more affordable and enjoyable.

For Package Tours, Nile Cruises & Hotel Stays:

  • Infants (0–1 years): Travel free of charge
  • Toddlers (2–5 years): Only 25% of the full price
  • Children (6–11 years): 50% of the full price
  • Teens (12+ years): Full adult rate applies

For Sightseeing Tours & Shore Excursions:

  • Children under 6: Travel free
  • Children 6–11: Pay 50% of the full price
  • Children 12 and up: Full price applies

Do I Need a Visa for Egypt?

Yes, all travelers need a visa to enter Egypt—but getting one is easier than ever.

Option 1: Visa on Arrival

If you’re a citizen of countries like the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, EU nations, and many others (see full list below), you can simply buy a 1-month entry visa on arrival at any major airport in Egypt. It’s quick, convenient, and costs around $25 USD.

Option 2: e-Visa (Apply Online)

Many nationalities can now apply for an Egyptian e-Visa online before travel. It’s fast, secure, and helps you skip the visa queue at the airport. We highly recommend this option for peace of mind.

Option 3: Apply in Advance at an Embassy

If you’re planning to stay longer than 30 days or your tour includes other Middle Eastern countries, we suggest applying for a 3-month multiple-entry visa from your nearest Egyptian embassy or consulate before your trip.

Who Can Get a Visa on Arrival or e-Visa?

Citizens of the following countries are eligible:

United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, European Union, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Macedonia, South Korea, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine.

Important Travel Tip

Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date in Egypt.

What About Visas for Multi-Country Tours?

If your tour includes multiple countries—like Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Turkey, or others—most travelers will find the visa process straightforward. That said, each country has its own entry requirements, so it’s important to check what applies to your nationality before booking.

While we can’t submit visa applications on your behalf, we’ll make sure you know exactly what’s needed and how to apply—so you can travel with total peace of mind.

Can You Help Me Book My Flights?

Yes—we’re happy to help! If you’d like to include your international flights (to and from Egypt) as part of your tour package, just let us know when you’re ready to book. We’ll find convenient options that align with your itinerary.

Please note: Airline tickets usually need to be paid in full at the time of booking, as per airline policy.

What If I Need to Cancel?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your tour, please send us a written request as soon as possible by email or fax. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent, and we’re always here to help you explore alternatives, like postponing your trip.

Standard Cancellation Policy (Excludes Peak Travel Periods)

If you choose to cancel, the following fees apply:

  • 61+ days before arrival: 15% of the total tour price
  • 60–31 days before arrival: 35% of the total tour price
  • 30–15 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price
  • 14–1 days before arrival: 100% of the total tour price

Please note: Airline tickets are subject to separate cancellation fees, and a 5% bank processing fee will be deducted from any refund.

Peak Season Cancellation Policy

(Christmas, New Year, and Easter Vacations)

For tours during these special periods, the following fees apply:

  • 61+ days before arrival: 25% of the total tour price
  • 60–31 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price
  • 30–15 days before arrival: 75% of the total tour price
  • 14–1 days before arrival: 100% of the total tour price

As above, airline fees and a 5% bank charge on refunds also apply.

Refunds Made Simple

We’ll refund your payment using the same method you used to pay. However, please note that refunds are not possible for no-shows. A 5% bank handling fee is deducted from all refunded amounts.

Prefer to Postpone Instead?

Good news—most travelers choose to reschedule instead of cancel, and in most cases, there are no additional fees to do so. Any payments you’ve made will be credited toward your new travel dates. We’ll work with you to make the process smooth, so you can still enjoy your dream tour when the time is right.
