10-Day Cairo, Aswan, Luxor & Hurghada Tour

Day 1: Your Arrival at Cairo

When you arrive in Cairo by air, we’ll be right there to meet you and greet you, and to offer our assistance with luggage. We will then drive you to the hotel where you will be staying for the night.

At the hotel, we will ensure you have an uneventful check-in and then we’ll discuss your tour itinerary with you, and confirm a pickup time for day two. Enjoy a free “welcome drink”, and then spend the remainder of the day as you wish.

Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing

Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at your hotel. Your personal guide will then take you to the Giza Plateau, where you’ll start by admiring the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You’ll also have the opportunity to see the renowned Sphinx and Valley Temple.

After finishing your tour of the pyramids, you’ll enjoy lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant. Following lunch, you’ll visit the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum located about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza Pyramid complex.

Once the day is done you will go to the Giza Railway station for an overnight sleeper train to Aswan that includes an on-board dinner and breakfast.

Day 3: Aswan Top Attractions

As you arrive at Aswan station, you will be met by your tour guide who will introduce you to the next leg of your trip, which starts at the Unfinished Obelisk which likely belonged to Queen Hatshepsut and is thought to be the largest piece of stonework ever constructed.

After you take in this incredible sight you will go to the incredible Temple of Philae, and then spend the night at a good hotel in Aswan.

Day 4: Abu Simbel Temples

Your hotel in Aswan will provide a top notch breakfast before your 10:30 am departure. You will take a trip to the Abu Simbel Temples, which constitutes a 3 1/2 hour drive from Aswan in a private air conditioned vehicle.

Once you arrive you will see the marvelous Temple of Ramses II at Abu Simbel before returning to Aswan for another comfortable night at the hotel

Day 5: Valley of the Kings and More…

Have breakfast at your hotel and then take the 3 1/2 hour drive to Luxor! Explore the notorious Valley of the Kings and visit the El Deir Bahari Temple, aka Hatsheptsut Temple, built by Queen Hatshepsut during the 18th Dynasty.

Next up is a stop at the Colossi of Memnon and then you’ll be driven to the hotel where you will be staying the night

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 6: Karnak and Luxor Temples

After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Luxor, and then head over to the Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple.

You will then take a drive in an air-conditioned vehicle to Hurghada, and on arrival you will be taken to the hotel where you will be staying during your time in Hurghada.

Meals included: Breakfast

Days 7 and 8: Free Days in Hurghada

Two free days in Hurghada to nourish your mind, body and soul.

Spend these days relaxing at the resort; go swimming in the Red Sea, or take advantage of some the awesome optional activities which are available in Hurghada, including things like:

  • Snorkeling
  • Windsurfing
  • Sailing
  • Deep Sea Fishing

Spend these two nights in Hurghada.

Meals included: Breakfast

Day 9: Return to Cairo

Eat breakfast at your hotel in Hurghada and spend some free time before being transferred back to Cairo by bus (public transport) where you will once again spend the night in a good hotel. The journey from Hurghada typically takes about six hours. On arrival in Cairo, you will be met and you will be taken to the hotel where you will be spending the last night of your tour.

Note: You can upgrade to a flight for a small flight supplement fee if you would rather not travel by bus.

Day 10: Departure

Sadly, your Egyptian journey of discovery cannot last forever, but your memories certainly will. Wake up to a wonderful 5-Star breakfast at your hotel, and get ready leave. One of our tour managers will arrive with a driver and you’ll be taken to the airport in time for you to catch your flight back home. Our staff will assist you with luggage, and then it will be time for everyone to say their goodbyes. Egypt bids you farewell.
