7-Day Cairo and Luxor Holiday

Day 1: Arrive in Egypt

Regardless of what time you arrive for your Cairo and Luxor Holiday, we will be at the airport to welcome you, and to assist you in any way we can. When immigration formalities have been taken care of, we will drive you in style to the plush Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel where you will be staying for your first two nights in Egypt.

Once at the hotel, we will assist you with check and then we’ll discuss your tour itinerary with you, and also confirm pick up times for your various tours. Enjoy a free “Welcome” drink and then enjoy the rest of the day any way you want. Go out and explore the city; try some local food; relax next to the pool, or simply retire to you room for some peace and quiet.

Day 2: Pyramids Tours

After enjoying breakfast in your hotel, you will set out to view the Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. On this second day of your Cairo and Luxor Holiday you will also enjoy exploring the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, both of which date back to the time of Chephren.

Finally, you will visit the Step Pyramid in Saqqara, before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Cairo Tours

You will enjoy breakfast in your hotel and then a full day of sightseeing around Cairo. Your first stop will be the new Grand Egyptian Museum, where you will be able to get a glimpse of the 5,000 years of heritage and culture in Egypt.

You will then visit the Alabaster Mosque built by Mohammed Ali in the 1800s, as well as the Cairo Citadel of Salah El Din. You will then move on to Coptic Cairo, where you will see the Hanging Church, the Abu Sirga Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Finally, you will head to the Giza train station to take a sleeper train to Luxor. You will dine and sleep aboard the train in a private compartment.

Day 4: Luxor Sightseeing

On day 4 of your Cairo and Luxor Holiday you will be met and assisted on arrival in Luxor, and driven to the Sonesta St. George Hotel. After check-in you will then enjoy a sightseeing trip to the Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple.

You will also visit the Obelisk of Ramses II, before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 5: Luxor Sightseeing/Back to Cairo

On day 5 of your 7 day Cairo and Luxor Holiday once you have finished breakfast, you will tour the incredible Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens and Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple.

Finally, you will head to the Luxor train station to board a sleeper train to Cairo. You will dine and sleep on the train in a private compartment.

Meals included: Breakfast and dinner

Day 6: Arrive Cairo

You will be met at Giza station in Cairo and driven to the Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel. This is a leisure day which means that you will have the chance to explore the city as you wish. You can also opt to take a dinner cruise down the Nile, complete with folklore shows and a belly dancer. You’ll stay the night in Cairo.

Day 7: Final Departure

Sadly, vacations never last forever but your memories certainly will. Wake up to a wonderful 5-Star breakfast at your hotel, and get ready leave. One of our consultants will arrive with a driver and you’ll be taken to the airport in time for you to catch your flight back home. Our staff will assist you with luggage and check-in, and it will be time for everyone to say their goodbyes.
