4-Day Steigenberger Minerva Cruise

On arrival in Aswan, one of our tour representatives will be standing by to meet and greet you at the airport or at Aswan railway station. You will then be driven in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to the place where you will board the deluxe Steigenberger Minerva Nile cruise boat which will be taking you on your magical cruise along the Nile River.

After you have boarded; checked in, and settled into your cabin, you will be served a lovely lunch on board, and you will begin making your way to see the remarkable High Dam which is one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken in Egypt.

After the High Dam you will visit the famous Granite Quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk, and then finally you’ll head off to visit the indescribable Temple of Philae.

As evening approaches, your boat will tie up, and you will be served a wonderful dinner on board, followed by a special Nubian folkloric show.

Wake up to a hearty onboard breakfast as you sail peacefully along the Nile to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Temple of Sobek and Haeroris, the two ancient gods to which this magnificent temple was devoted to.

Once everyone has seen everything there is to see at the temple, your boat will begin sailing towards Edfu and you will be served another fine lunch. On arrival you will visit the ancient Horus Temple at Edfu.

Your boat will later depart, and you will cruise to Esna, enjoying afternoon tea along the way. Expect to arrive at Edfu in the late afternoon or early evening, just in time for another good onboard dinner. Tonight’s entertainment will be a very enjoyable Egyptian Galabeya Party, and you will be spending the night on board the boat in Esna.

Today once again kicks off with an early start as your boat begins sailing to Luxor. Enjoy a nice wholesome breakfast along the way, and prepare yourself for what many consider to be the highlight of this cruise, a visit to the West Bank in Luxor.

On arrival, you will disembark to visit the infamous Valley of Kings where many of Egypt’s pharaohs were laid to rest, including King Tutankhamen. Your next visit will be to another one of Egypt’s most famous attractions, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Lastly, you be taken to see the ancient Colossi of Memnon before enjoying another good onboard lunch.

After lunch you will continue sightseeing, this time visiting the vast Karnak Temple complex, followed by a visit to the astonishingly well-preserved Luxor Temple.

Enjoy another fine dinner and another comfortable night’s rest on board your river boat.

Sadly, all good things eventually come to an end, and today marks the end of your magical 4-day Aswan to Luxor Nile cruise. Enjoy another hearty onboard breakfast, and then it will be time for you to say any goodbyes and disembark. Once again, one of our tour representatives will be standing by waiting for you, and they will transfer you to the airport or to Luxor railway station, depending on what your travel plans are.
