6-Day Black and White Desert Tour

We have tour consultants on standby 24/7 so no matter what time you are arriving, we will have someone at the airport to meet you when you arrive for your Black and White Desert Tour. You will then be transferred to the upscale Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel and Spa aboard in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Our staff will assist you with check-in, and then go over your tour itinerary with you. They will also confirm pick up times for your tours, and you can enjoy a free “Welcome” drink on us. The remainder of your first day is yours: Relax by the pool; take a nap, or venture out and get a taste of Cairo.

After a tasty and nourishing breakfast at your hotel, you will set out with your private guide to the Giza Plateau, where your experience begins at one of the world’s most famous landmarks – the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will also visit the legendary Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

Following your time at the pyramids, enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant before continuing to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), often referred to as the Giza Museum. This impressive archaeological museum is located in Giza, approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the pyramid complex. After the visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

You’ll spend the night in your hotel in Cairo.

After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel. Via air-conditioned vehicle, you will travel to the Bahariya Oasis, where you will visit the Golden Mummies Museum displaying treasures from the Graeco-Roman period.

Finally, you will enjoy a sunset tour of the English House and a chance to explore the village shops. You will spend the night in Bahariya at a luxury hotel.

You will enjoy breakfast, and then you will be driven to the Black Desert and the Valley of El Haize, where you will enjoy a natural hot spring. You will also visit Crystal Mountain which is bedecked with volcanic quartz crystals.

Before your day ends, you will also visit the Valley of Agabat, and tonight you will camp under the stars in the White Desert, enjoying Bedouin entertainment and food. If the weather does not allow for camping out, you will instead be taken to spend the night at the Farafra Oasis Hotel instead.

On day 5 of your Black and White Desert tour you will enjoy breakfast with your Bedouin hosts and some leisure time to explore the hot spring and surrounding area before returning to the Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel and Spa in Cairo.

In the evening you can enjoy an optional dinner cruise on the Nile, or you can opt to see Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids instead. Both these excursions are optional, but highly recommended. Spend the night in your hotel in Cairo.

The sun has risen; a new day has dawned, and today you will unfortunately be leaving us. Enjoy a good 5-Star breakfast at your hotel, and a little while later a tour consultant and driver will arrive to take you for check-in at the airport.
